Crimson Sox outfielder who was simply preferred to 19 All-Star video games, earned two American Group MVP awards and batted .406 in 1941, one of the biggest hitting periods ever. He led the AL in house runs four situations, in batting typical six situations, and twice gained the esteemed triple crown award, in 1942 and 1947. He was called after Leader Teddy Roosevelt. He offered three years in america Navy and Sea Corps during Globe Battle II and in the center of his MLB profession from 1943 to 1946. He was wedded double, to Doris Soule and Lee Howard. He previously two daughters, Barbara and Claudia, and a kid, John. In 1956, Mickey Mantle became the initial player to earn the triple crown prize since Williams in 1947.
