Tawfiq Canaan

Palestinian scientist, doctor, and ethnographer who analyzed folklore and researched the validity of superstition. He gathered over 1,400 amulets and talismanic items during his profession. He was a medical official for the Ottoman Empire during Globe Battle I. He released two books in the issues in Palestine.
