Yesudas, Mohan became among India’s most widely known & most prolific cinematic playback performers. Her several honors add a 2008 Kerala Condition Film Award for ‘Greatest Female Playback Vocalist’ and 2001 and 2004 Tamil Nadu and Asianet Film Honours within the same category. She documented her debut playback quantity, ‘Kannezhuthy Pottuthottu,’ when she is at the sixth quality. Her efficiency of ‘Pudhu Vellai Mazhai’ through the 1992 film Roja topped Indian music graphs. Her grandfather, Parur T. K. Narayana Pillai, offered as Main Minister of India’s Travancore Cochin Condition. Her relationship to Dr. Mohan led to a singer girl called Shweta Mohan. She added vocal tracks towards the 1978 Rajinikanth film Gayathri.
