Flamboyant prizefighter who was simply a six-time world champion. He put together a profession record of 173-19-6 and was inducted in to the International Boxing Hall of Popularity in 1990. His initial childhood desire was to be always a doctor. His novice boxing record was 85-0. He was wedded 3 x; to Marjorie Joseph, Edna Mae Holly, and Millie Wiggins Bruce. He previously two sons, Ronnie Robinson and Ray Robinson Jr. As a kid, he idolized and produced motivation from Joe Louis.
