Stu Cook

Bass participant and vocalist for the swamp rock-band Creedence Clearwater Revival, the group known for singles like “Proud Mary” and “Poor Moon Growing.” After learning traditional piano, he teamed up with youth friends to execute a new kind of music known as swamp rock and roll. He co-founded Stock Productions, a cellular recording studio room in the Bay Region, with bandmate Doug Clifford. He wedded Jackie Make and afterwards got remarried to Laura Make. He was bandmates with John Fogerty in Creedence Clearwater Revival.
