Tx blues guitar legend known to be the first choice and co-founder from the music group Double Trouble aswell for his single work. He didn’t cultivate a lot of a sociable existence, as he was constantly playing your guitar developing up. When he was seventeen, he lowered out of senior high school to pursue a profession in music. He was inducted in to the Blues Hall of Popularity in 2000. He wedded Lenora “Lenny” Bailey on Dec 20, 1979 plus they divorced in 1988. He was affected by the task of blues performers like Muddy Waters.

1 Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015, in the same class with Ringo Starr (as a solo artist) and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
2 The last concert at which he played featured a fifteen-minute jam of "Sweet Home Chicago" with his brother Jimmie, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, and Robert Cray.
3 Before his death, recorded the album "Family Style" with his brother Jimmie. They had always attempted to record an album together before, and they joked about their bands' schedules always conflicting: whenever Double Trouble was recording a new album in the studio, the Fabulous Thunderbirds were on tour, and when Double Trouble was on tour, the Thunderbirds were recording in the studio.
4 When he was 17, he got a tattoo of a peacock on his chest. He later learned the tattoo was meant to go on his arm.
5 He learned how to play guitar entirely by ear. He never learned how to read sheet music.
6 Played guitar on David Bowie's classic eighties album, "Let's Dance".
