Steven Chu


American physicist who was simply the united states Secretary of Energy from 2009 to 2013. He gained the Nobel Award in Physics in 1997 for his efforts to the air conditioning and trapping of atoms with laser beam light. He gained his Ph.D. in physics in the School of California, Berkeley, in 1976. He’s an associate of america Country wide Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Philosophical Culture as well as the Academia Sinica. He wedded Jean Fetter in 1997. He was appointed the Secretary of Energy by Leader Barack Obama.
