Steve Reich

Won the Pulitzer Award for Music for his 2009 structure “Increase Sextet.” He became among the pioneers of minimal music in the 1960s by using tape loops to generate phrasing patterns in compositions such as for example “It’s Gonna Rainfall.” He received a BA in idea from Cornell College or university in 1957.
