Well-known for his many collaborations with jazz musician Dave Holland, this world-class vibraphonist and marimba player can be known for his use pianist Mulgrew Miller, drummer Lewis Nash and bassist Peter Washington. He gained undergraduate and graduate levels in music from Rutgers School and later trained at Princeton School. Between the past due 1980s and the first 2000s, he added to almost twenty albums, including Fuller Nelson (2004) and Perfect Directive (1998). He was created and elevated in Pittsburgh, Pa. Saxophonist Bobby Watson added to Nelson’s 1989 Live Program: Quantity 1 recording.
