Stephen Hartke

Wrote structure “On the other hand – Incidental Music to Imaginary Puppet Has,” which won a Grammy Prize for Best Modern Classical Structure in 2013. He examined at Yale School, the School of Pennsylvania, as well as the School of California, Santa Barbara. His initial instructor was Mary Miley. He offered as composer in home from 1988 until 1992 for the LA Chamber Orchestra. He grew up in Manhattan. He fathered a kid Sandy along with his wife Lisa Stidham. His music was intensely influenced by the task of Igor Stravinsky, middle ages music, Tudor cathedral music, bebop, gamelan, and his teachers Leonardo Balada and George Rochberg.
