American sculptor, architect, and artist who produced elegant steel wind kinetic sculptures, like the piece Sunrise Serenade. He researched on the Cleveland Institute of Artwork on a scholarship or grant, and he served in america Air Power during World Battle II. He designed his kinetic sculptures to demonstrate graceful motion, and had been modeled after wild birds and blowing wind vanes. He wedded German immigrant Hedwig Roelen in 1942. He and Naum Gabo had been both known because of their kinetic artwork.
