Biography

Expressionist, Impressionist, and Constructivist poet who’s considered perhaps one of the most essential Slovene writers from the post-World Battle I period. Also an editor, he proved helpful for the magazine known as Mladina (Youngsters). He released his initial poems when he was simply eleven years of age. His literary functions have been in comparison to those of Federico Garcia Lorca. He was created in Sezana, Slovenia. He passed away at age twenty-two in the town of Tomaj. Kosovel founded the Ivan Cankar Membership, which released literary pamphlets and sponsored intellectual debates.
