American geneticist who served as director from the Country wide Geographic Society’s Genographic Task. He was the 2007 receiver of the Kistler Reward for human hereditary and social study. After graduating from the University or college of Tx at Austin (B.A.) and Harvard University or college (Ph.D.), he finished postdoctoral function in biology at Stanford University or college and the University or college of Oxford. He released a 2002 publication entitled The Trip of Man: A Hereditary Odyssey. He was created in Georgia and elevated in Tx. He later trained at Cornell University or college in NY. He and fellow geneticist Mary Harris had been both created and elevated in the Southern USA.
