Sophie Harris

Renowned British isles scenic and costume designer of operatic, theatrical, and film productions whose work provides appeared in a number of Shakespearian productions. She was a founding person in the Motley Theater Style Group and, therefore, she done an Oxford School creation of Romeo and Juliet that was directed with the soon-to-be-famous John Gielgud. She caused French movie director Michel Saint-Denis on the 1935 stage creation of Noah. She divorced London theater actor and movie director George Devine in 1960. In 1942, the couple’s little girl, Harriet, have been blessed. She gained a BAFTA Prize for costume style for her focus on the 1964 Anne Bancroft and Peter Finch film, The Pumpkin Eater.
