French balloonist remembered to be the wife of ballooning legend Jean-Pierre Blanchard. She was the 1st feminine professional balloonist and, in 1989, became the 1st female ever to perish within an aviation incident. She was created in the Trois-Canons commune and wedded her husband a while in the 1790’s.
