Sonia Delaunay

Russian-French artist from the Orphism art motion and known on her behalf use of lively colours and geometric shapes. She became the 1st living female designer to become honored from the Louvre having a retrospective exhibition. It had been kept in 1964. She was created in the Russian Empire and went to the Academy of Good Arts in Karlsruhe, Germany. She also signed up for the Académie de La Palette after shifting to Paris in 1905. Her painting, “Coccinelle,” was presented on the French postage stamp in 2004. She was created to a nail-factory foreman. She wedded fellow designer Robert Delaunay, with whom she experienced a child, Charles, in 1911. She was influenced by Post-Impressionist painters like Vincent Vehicle Gogh.
