Soledad Alvear

Chilean attorney and politician who served as Foreign Minister in Ricardo Lagos, signing a free of charge Trade Contract with america, the Western european Community, and Southern Korea. She researched law and afterwards served as leader from the Christian Democratic Party of Chile. As Chilean Minister of Women’s Affairs, she dealt with gender-based discrimination in her indigenous country. She was created in Santiago, Chile.
