Conceptual and minimalist artist well-known for his paintings, lithographs, wall drawings, and sculptures, which he called structures. He was also experienced in sketching, printmaking, picture taking, and painting. He went to Syracuse University, that he graduated using a BFA in 1949. He afterwards offered in the Korean Battle, getting stationed in California, Japan, and Korea.
