Skip Spence

Vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist who all co-founded a 1960s psychedelic folk/rock and roll group called Moby Grape. He also performed being a drummer on Jefferson Airplane’s initial album. He started his music profession being a guitarist for the band known as The Other Aspect. He experienced schizophrenia and medication addiction, but eventually passed away in his early fifties from lung cancers. He was created in Ontario, Canada, but he spent the majority of his youth in San Jose, California. His dad, Alexander Lett Spence, was a salesman, musician, and Globe Battle II veteran. He and musician Jerry Miller had been co-founders of Moby Grape.
