Simon Cox

English striker that has lent his talents to a number of teams including Reading, Swindon City and Western Bromwich Albion, leading Soccer League 1 in scoring and receiving the Swindon City Player of THE GROWING SEASON award for the 2008-09 season. In 2011, he received the Nations Glass name while representing the Republic of Ireland. He went to Downsway Primary College and Denefield College. He started playing around the youngsters squad of his hometown group, Reading, in 1996, when he was 9 yrs . old. He was called Man from the Match for his overall performance in an Oct 2011 match against Armenia which helped the Republic of Ireland protected a spot within the UEFA Euro 2012 play-offs. He was created within the Tilehurst suburb of Reading, Britain. He was teammates with celebrity Irish striker Robbie Keane in the UEFA Euro 2012.
