Known for his sports journalism work with Minnesota’s Star Tribune, he also managed the Minneapolis Lakers professional basketball group (which later on became the well-known LA Lakers group) and supplied sports commentary on the Minneapolis radio place. After dropping away from school to become newspaper delivery guy for the Minneapolis Tribune, he composed his first paper column (released within the Minneapolis Daily Situations) in past due 1945. Though no award-winning article writer, he was frequently lauded for his exceptional reporting abilities. His kid, Chad Hartman, managed an application on Minneapolis’ WCCO-AM radio place. He was an individual friend of renowned Indiana Hoosiers golf ball trainer Bobby Knight.
