Sid Fleischman

An American children’s author and screenwriter, he’s most widely known for works like the Whipping Youngster and Humbug Hill. In 1994, he was america nominee for the renowned Hans Christian Andersen Prize. When he was nineteen yrs . old, he released Between Cocktails, a manual of magic techniques. He later researched at NORTH PARK State College, offered within the U.S. armed forces during World Battle II, and released his debut secret book, The Straw Donkey Case. His screenplays consist of Bloodstream Alley (1955) and Goodbye, My Female (1956). He was created to Russian-Jewish parents in NEW YORK. He and his wife, Betty, got three kids: Paul, Jane, and Anne. He had written the screenplay for Bloodstream Alley, a 1955 film starring John Wayne.
