Children’s writer who won both American Newbery Medal as well as the Uk Carnegie Medal. Her most widely known functions consist of Walk Two Moons, Ruby Holler, and Like That Dog. Pursuing her university graduation, she trained literature and composing in both Britain and Switzerland. She released her 1st children’s book, Totally Normal Chaos, in britain in 1990. Walk Two Moons was released four years later on in america. She wrote many of her children’s functions, including Heartbeat and Like That Puppy, in verse. She and her four siblings was raised within the Cleveland, Ohio suburb of South Euclid. She wedded NJ educator Lyle Rigg, as well as the couple got two kids: Karin and Rob. Karen Hesse is definitely another woman Newbery Medal-winning writer.
