Biography

Remembered top for his use the brand new York-based hip-hop group Boogie Down Productions, this disc jockey and music producer was tragically shot and wiped out at age twenty-five. His initial album, Lawbreaker Minded (released in 1987), quickly became a hip-hop traditional. He played golf ball at Vermont’s Castleton Condition College and proved helpful a side work as a Fri evening DJ at an area club. After graduating from university, he became a fresh York-based social employee by day along with a hip-hop DJ by evening. His tragic loss of life fueled the rap artist-sponsored Prevent the Assault Movement. Delivered Scott Monroe Sterling, he was raised in NY City’s Bronx borough because the boy of city worker Carolyn Morant. He afterwards fathered one young child, Scott Sterling, Jr. He, DJ D-Nice Jones, and rapper KRS-One founded Boogie Down Productions in 1986.
