Sarah Webster Fabio

African-American poet, author, and teacher whose functions include Reflection, a Soul and Dark Talk: Shield and Sword. Rainbow Symptoms, a seven-volume collection released in 1973, could very well be her best-known poetic function. She was created in Nashville, Tennessee, and started composing poetry during her senior high school years. She continued to review at Spelman University and Fisk College or university. She relocated towards the San Francisco region in the first 1960s and became from the Western world Coast branch from the Dark Arts Movement. She trained at the College or university of California, Berkeley, where she developed a Dark Studies section. She and her hubby, Cyril Fabio, got five children jointly. She taught for a while at Merritt University in Oakland, California, where civil privileges activist Bobby Seale was students.
