Sandy Amoros

Cuban remaining fielder nicknamed “Sandy” who’s best remembered for his stellar efficiency in video game seven from the 1955 Globe Series as an associate from the Brooklyn Dodgers. He previously previously earned a yellow metal medal representing Cuba in the Central American and Caribbean Video games in 1950. He was created in Havana and was authorized by Dodgers scout Al Campanis in 1951. He drew the ire of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro by refusing to control the Cuban nationwide team. He wedded Migdalia Castro in 1954 and got a daughter called Eloisa. He earned the 1955 Globe Series alongside Dodgers remaining fielder Hank Bauer.
