Sandie Shaw

1960s pop vocalist who also won the Eurovision Track Competition in 1967 with “Puppet on the String.” She’s been on displays like The surface of the Pops. Besides doing work for a Ford Dagenham manufacturing plant, she worked like a model. After retiring like a vocalist, she continued to create tunes. After two divorces, she wedded Tony Bedford. Among her strikes was originally documented by Dionne Warwick, “(There’s) Usually Something There to Remind Me.”
