Sammy Byrd

Former professional football participant and golfer who played for the brand new York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds during his 8 year MLB profession. Like a golfer, he earned six PGA Tour occasions from 1942 to 1946. He was created in Bremen and was raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He became the 1st athlete ever sold to contend in both an MLB Globe Series and a Master’s Competition. His dad was Roan Byrd. He was the runner-up to Byron Nelson in the 1945 PGA Tournament.
