During the period of his nearly two decade career being a National Hockey League center, Koivu served as both captain from the Montreal Canadiens and assistant captain from the Anaheim Ducks. He started his profession with Finland’s Turun Palloseura glaciers hockey membership. He became a member of the Montreal Candiens following 1993 NHL Draft. Using the Finland Men’s Country wide Ice Hockey Group, he won yellow metal on the 1995 Globe Championships and sterling silver on the 2006 Olympic Video games. Delivered to Tuire and Jukka Koivu, he was raised in Turku, Finland. Along with his wife Hanna Koivu, he previously a daughter called Ilona and a boy called Aatos. His young sibling, Mikko Koivu, captained the NHL group the Minnesota Crazy.
