Sajida Talfah

Famous as the wife of Iraqi Chief executive Saddam Hussein, Talfah was wedded towards the infamous leader from 1958 until his execution in 2006. She became familiar with Saddam during her child years years, as he was her 1st cousin and was in fact elevated in her family’s house. Before her organized relationship to Hussein, Talfah worked well like a schoolteacher. When Hussein required another wife, Samira Shahbandar, without Talfah’s understanding or consent, Talfah harshly objected. Expressing his support for his mom, aswell as his anger on the potential threat to his inheritance, Uday Hussein murdered Kamel Hana Gegeo, a previous Saddam Hussein bodyguard whom Uday held accountable for having launched Shahbandar to Hussein. Her dad, Khairallah Talfah, was a innovator in the Iraqi Ba’ath Party. Her relationship to Saddam Hussein led to sons called Uday and Qusay and daughters called Raghad, Rana, and Hala. She was portrayed by Iranian-born celebrity Shohreh Aghdashloo inside a 2008 BBC unique titled Home of Saddam.
