Famous as the wife of Iraqi Chief executive Saddam Hussein, Talfah was wedded towards the infamous leader from 1958 until his execution in 2006. She became familiar with Saddam during her child years years, as he was her 1st cousin and was in fact elevated in her family’s house. Before her organized relationship to Hussein, Talfah worked well like a schoolteacher. When Hussein required another wife, Samira Shahbandar, without Talfah’s understanding or consent, Talfah harshly objected.
