Sadhana Sargam

For her are a playback singer in Indian motion pictures, she was awarded a 2002 National Film Award and numerous Filmfare Awards South, Maharashtra State Film Awards and Zee Gaurav Puraskar Awards. Early in her profession, she supplied the singing tone of voice for celebrity Padmini Kolhapure within the 1982 feature Vidhaata. Her cinematic playback credits consist of near 10,000 Hindi music, nearly 2,000 Tamil music, and near 3,000 Bengali monitors. She is popular for her regular collaborations with Oscar-winning film composer A.R. Rahman. Blessed to vocalist and music trainer Neela Ghanekar, she was raised in Dabhol, Maharashtra, India. She and Kavita Krishnamurthy became two of Indian cinema’s most acclaimed playback performers.
