Ruth Bancroft Law

Famous aviatrix who established several cross-country speed records and became the military’s initial feminine pilot. She started her pilot trained in June of 1912. She kept a non-commissioned official post and flew armed forces recruitment tours through the Globe Battle I years. She retired from traveling at the demand of her hubby, Charles Oliver, who feared on her behalf safety. She bought her first aeroplanes from Orville Wright.
