7th degree crimson and dark belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who competed in blended martial arts within the featherweight and light-weight divisions. He completed his MMA profession using a 5-5-1 record. He gained his to begin 9 silver medals in a variety of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/Grappling competitions which included Globe Jiu-Jitsu Tournament, ADCC World Tournament, and Skillet American Championships back 1996. He provides written several instructional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu books, several which he co-wrote with a few of his family. He wedded and acquired four daughters with Vera Lucia Ribeiro. He originates from a family group of fighters including his cousin Ryan Gracie.
