Roy Wood


Singer-songwriter famous through the 1960s and ’70s for his use the British rock and roll bands Electric powered Light Orchestra, The Move, and Wizzard, this vocalist, songwriter, and musician can be popular for his U.K. Best 20 solo record Boulders. In the beginning of his profession, he performed with rings known as The Falcons and Gerry Levene & the Avengers. Also ahead of becoming well-known, he briefly examined on the Moseley University of Artwork. He wrote an individual titled “Music of Praise” that was regarded as the United Kingdom’s 1972 Eurovision Tune Competition selection. A indigenous of Kitts Green, Birmingham, Britain, he later resolved in Derbyshire, East Midlands, Britain. He co-founded The Electric powered Light Orchestra with songwriter Jeff Lynne and drummer Bev Bevan.
