Roy Genders

He played high grade from 1946-1949 for Derbyshire Worcestershire, and Somerset. He was an extremely talented amateur participant in Britain. After his playing times, he authored two books about cricket. He was created in Dore, Derbyshire, and passed away in Worthing, Sussex. He belongs to a storied background of Derbyshire players which includes Ian Bishop.
