Roy Cohn


American attorney who increased to prominence through the Military–McCarthy hearings in 1954. He was also within the group that prosecuted Julius and Ethel Rosenberg for treason. He graduated from Columbia University at age nineteen and Columbia Regulation College at twenty, but experienced to hold back until he flipped twenty-one to consider the bar exam. He resigned from Senator McCarthy’s services and entered personal practice, where he displayed major public numbers like Donald Trump, Steve Rubell, and Ian Schrager. His parents had been noted NY Democrats Dora Marcus and Albert C. Cohn. He was famously performed by Al Pacino in the mini-series version of Tony Kushner’s play Angels in the us.
