Most widely known for his use Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, this American bassist used the music group through the 1970s and early 1980s and rejoined the group in the first 2000s. Before becoming a member of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, he performed having a Gainesville, Florida music group known as RGF. He documented the four preliminary Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers albums, although his bass lines had been occasionally re-recorded by Donald Dunn along with other program bass guitarists. The child of a USA Navy Official, he spent his child years in Hong Kong, Japan, and several American claims. After surviving in Georgia and Florida for a while, he relocated to LA, California. When he remaining Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers in 1982, he was changed by fellow bassist Howie Epstein. Pursuing Epstein’s 2003 loss of life, he returned towards the music group.
