Roger McGough

Poet, performer, and children’s writer from the Liverpool Poets and well-known for his put in place the bestselling anthology The Mersey Audio. His poetry choices consist of Mr Noselighter, Unlucky for a few, and Everyday Eclipses. He proved helpful being a French instructor and later shaped a poetry and music trio known as The Scaffold. He was an un-credited author of comedic dialogue for the Beatles’ 1968 cartoon film, Yellowish Submarine. He was created in the Liverpool suburb of Litherland. He made an appearance within a film in regards to a Beatles parody group, the Rutles, whose people included guitarist Ollie Halsall.
