Robert Trout

Radio reporter from the 1930s and 1940s who pioneered a lot of now staple elements of information broadcasts. He started as an announcer of an area Alexandria, Virginia’s WJSV, and he became a member of CBS following the network obtained the place. In the pre-television period, he was CBS’s initial anchor man, keeping forth in the studio head office while matching with reports channels around European countries. He was created Robert Albert Blondheim in Washington, D.C. He was an integral influence from the reporting design of Edward R. Murrow.
