Roberto Concina, or as he’s better known, Robert Kilometers, was an electronica and home maker who rose to popularity in 1996 for his smash hit debut album Dreamland which peaked at #2 within the Swiss graphs and offered platinum in nearly six countries. He’s most widely known for the internationally renowned #1 strike “Kids.” He started playing piano as a kid and would ultimately start DJing in Italian nightclubs through the past due 1980s. In 1990, he utilized his savings to make a saving studio along with a pirate radio train station. In 2000, he co-founded the self-employed record label S:alt Information. His parents, Antonietta Lauro and Albino Concina, had been Italian immigrants. He passed on of metastatic tumor in Ibiza, Spain in-may 2017. In 1997, he released the favorite single “Independence” which presented Kathy Sledge.
