Nation singer who released strikes like “This Aged Porch” and dance stompers like “That Buckin’ Track.” He self-financed and released his debut recording in 1984 known as Zero Kinda Dance and discovered mainstream achievement with it. Driving the crest from the recognition of alt-country, his third recording featured acoustic guitar stylings by an important Austin musician with Gillian Welch performing the vocals. He was created in Houston, Tx. His dad was a geologist and his mom was a lawyer. His songs have already been covered by nation legends like George Strait, The Highwaymen, and Lyle Lovett.
