Roald Amundsen

Norwegian explorer who led the 1st expedition to attain the Southern Pole in the first 20th century. He worked well as a health care provider until he switched 21 as a way of satisfying a vocational guarantee he’d designed to his mom. He was the 1st explorer to attain both from the world’s poles. He was the child of Jens Amundsen. His mom passed away when he was 21, freeing him to be an explorer. Roald Amundsen is usually Roald Dahl’s namesake.
