American journalist and author who earned Pulitzer Awards in both History and Journalism. He was raised on armed forces bases all over the world and spent amount of time in Georgia, Idaho, Pa, California, and Hawaii. He gained the Pulitzer Award for National Confirming in 1982 while utilized using the Kansas City Moments. He previously two children along with his wife Jane Ann Chestnut, whom he wedded in 1979. His 2002 Pulitzer Award winning reserve, An Military at Dawn: The Battle in North Africa, 1942–1943, complete Dwight Eisenhower’s initiatives through the allied invasion of North Africa during Globe War II.
