Richard Rodgers

Broadway composer with Oscar Hammerstein II and Lorenz Hart. He constructed over 900 music and 43 musicals, including “Oklahoma!,” “The Ruler and I,” “The Audio of Music,” and several various other immortal classics. He spent his formative summer months years at Camp Wigwam, which became a breeding surface for his significant compositional abilities. He offered as musical movie director for Lew Areas and also followed Nora Bayes and Fred Allen. He also composed “Dearest Foe” from 1925, “THE LADY Friend” from 1926, and “A Connecticut Yankee” from 1927 with Hart and “Carousel” from 1945, “South Pacific” from 1949, and “Cinderella” from 1957 with Hammerstein. He was created in to the upper-class German Jewish category of Dr. William Abrahams Rodgers, a reputed physician. He wedded Dorothy Rodgers in 1940, plus they acquired two children jointly. He and Marvin Hamlisch both received Emmy, Oscar, Tony, and Grammy Honours, aswell as the Pulitzer Award. Nevertheless, he was the first ever to attain an EGOT: an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.
