Richard Pike Bissell

An Iowa-born writer of longer and brief fiction, he’s most widely known for his 1953 book, 7½ Cents. The task was the motivation for the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, The Pajama Video game. He graduated from Harvard College or university in 1965. His initial published function, A Stretch in the River (1950), was predicated on his previously experiences being a tugboat operator. His bestselling function, 7½ Cents, was predicated on his personal knowledge along with his family’s garment business. He was created in Dubuque, Iowa. His great-grandfather founded the H. B. Glover Business, which his dad managed. Like Tag Twain, he previously a lifelong like from the Mississippi River.
