Richard Manuel

Famous being a singer and keyboardist for the Canadian roots group The Music group, he’s also remembered for his use Bob Dylan’s one-time backup band, The Hawks. He began playing the piano at age nine and afterwards trained briefly on the Ontario Conservatory of Music. In his mid-teens, he produced a band known as The Revols. Tragically, experiencing alcoholism and medication addiction, he dedicated suicide in his early forties. The kid of a instructor and an motor vehicle mechanic, he spent his youth in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. His initial relationship, to model Jane Kristiansen, led to two sons; he afterwards married a female called Arlie.
