Richard Lugar

American Republican politician who served like a Senator for Indiana from 1977 to 2013. He was known for his function toward the dismantling of nuclear, natural, and chemical weaponry in the worldwide community. He was an associate from the Indianapolis Table of College Commissioners from 1964 to 1967 before becoming elected mayor in Indianapolis in 1968. He offered as the Chairman from the Senate Committee on Foreign Relationships from 1985 to 1987 and from 2003 to 2007. He wedded Charlene Smeltzer Lugar in 1956, plus they experienced four sons. He was granted the Presidential Medal of Independence by Chief executive Barack Obama in 2013.
