Architect and educator who was simply knighted in 1956 and served while architect for the Duchy of Cornwall Property. He began his 1st practice in 1906. He received the Royal Platinum Medal for Structures in 1947 and was elected chief executive from the Royal Academy in 1954. He wedded Elizabeth Myers in 1904 and experienced one young child. He aspired to transport within the innovative legacies of such pioneering architects as Frank Lloyd Wright.
