Reynolds Price

American poet and novelist whose award-winning works add a Lengthy and Happy Existence and Kate Vaiden. The previous function received the William Faulkner Basis Honor; the latter gained the National Publication Critics Group Award. He was raised in rural NEW YORK and went to Duke College or university on a complete scholarship. He later on became a much-respected British teacher at his alma mater. He survived vertebral tumor, but was wheelchair-bound through the middle-1980s until his loss of life from cardiovascular disease in 2011. He was homosexual and thought we would live only throughout his adult existence. He and vocalist/songwriter Wayne Taylor collaborated on a favorite song known as “Copperline.”
