Inventor and pc pioneer who all invented the initial computer hard drive while doing work for IBM in 1956. He also created the videocassette tape while worming for Sony. He created the technology to convert pencil-marked credit card to be changed into punch credit cards readable by computer systems, which became well-known in both private and open public sector businesses. The initial drive drive he constructed was composed of 50 double-sided magnetic disks, each 24 in . in size, and jointly weighing quite a bit; it kept 5 megabytes of data. He previously a little girl and two sons along with his wife, Beatrice. Leader Ronald Reagan honored him the the Country wide Medal of Technology in 1986 .
